Blacula

Quite possibly the greatest movie trailer of all time. I’m currently working on “obtaining” a copy of this film, can not wait to watch it

The Cuntdown

Don’t worry, mainly SFW, but fucking hilarious. A proper Men’s Magazine, Front(Their website is definitely NSFW), puts out a “Cuntdown” in each issue. On this side of the pond we would probably call it something like a “Countdown of the Faggots” or something more clever if i could think of it. Anyways, enjoy. The first 3 deserve to be on this list for eternity.

P.S. Thanks to Nick for finding this fantastic magazine

Resource Pile Is Back!

2009-09-17_1558
That’s right, Resource Pile is back in action with a new more centralized purpose! After we let the old blog stagnate for the last year or so Nick decided to rebuild the site – and built his own PHP framework in the process!
The new focus of the blog is basically just a dumping ground of free content for designers and developers.

SuperBytes Redesign

Last week we launched the redesign of our SuperBytes.net web hosting site and we are very proud of it!
fullpage
Check it out! Looks good, eh? Completely redesigned from the ground up. We changed the URL scheme around as well to something much “prettier”.
logoandslogan
One of the biggest changes is the change in fonts and our new logo and slogan. We didn’t really have a slogan before and we decided that we needed to get one. This one is nice and simple and really defines what we do.
logins
One of the big things that was missing from the old design was an obvious way to login to our various management panels. We now have a very obvious set of links on every single page so that people can log in.
SolusVMMain
Our other big change that is somewhat design related is that we have switched to a new control panel – SolusVM. This panel lets you easily have one login for multiple VPS and it works great in general.
vpsmanagement
And here is a screen shot of the individual VPS management panel – looks great, doesn’t it?

Intuit buys Mint.com

Well i’m surprised it took this long, but Intuit (makers of the Quicken line of software) bought Mint.com today for about $170 Million dollars. Hopefully Intuit will do a good job with them and develop the brand well. I personally can’t wait for them to launch in Canada! I’m currently using Yodlee MoneyCenter to manage my finances but it has nothing on Mint.
You can read more about the deal on The Quicken Blog and the Mint.com blog
